There will be a parent meeting for incoming freshmen (current 8th graders) held on March 4th at 6:00pm in the HHS Cafeteria! Students have been given most of the information already, with added information they will get when they are at the high school next year. Please feel free to come and listen to the presentation and ask any questions you may have as your student gets ready for this next step in their academic career! ❤️🏴☠️
*We understand there is a band concert as well in the auditorium, we will have a recording and a copy of the presentation for anyone who would like to access it that wasn’t able to attend.*

🎓Seniors: If you haven't already opened your emails or seen on our Instagram, NEW scholarship links have been posted to Google Classroom. You can also access them through our school website: https://hhs.hannibal60.com/o/hhs/page/scholarships
Read through each one to see if you meet the criteria to apply.
If it is a PDF, DOWNLOAD FIRST before filling out the information to save and send in! 😊
As always you can reach out to anyone in the counseling center to help answer any questions you may have!

HPS 2-Hour Delay & Hard Surface Routes – Thursday, February 20
Due to extreme wind chills expected to reach advisory levels below -15°F, HPS will operate on a 2-hour delay on Thursday, February 20, 2025. Additionally, all buses will be on hard surface routes only. If any additional decisions are determined, this will be communicated by 7:30am on 2/20.
Key Adjustments for the Day:
-Buses will pick up students two hours later than usual. (EX. If your pick up time is usually 6:30am, it will now be 8:30am)
-School start times will be delayed by two hours, with dismissal at the normal time.
-No morning preschool.
-No morning activities or practices.
-School dismissal will remain at the normal time when school is delayed.
HPS remains committed to keeping schools open as often as safely possible, ensuring students have a warm, supportive environment for learning. Please use your best judgment when deciding if travel is safe for your family.
Stay warm and be safe,
Susan Johnson
Superintendent
