🏴☠️🎺HMS band had their spring concert. They had performances by HMS Jazz band, 6th grade band, 7th grade band, and 8th grade band. It is awesome to hear the improvements from all bands. They all sounded amazing!!

Our students are still going strong as the school year winds down! This week, these 7th graders tackled two-step inequalities using vertical whiteboards — showing off what they know and using every corner of the classroom to collaborate, think critically, and solve problems on their feet.

HMS students who qualified for State History Day competed on Saturday. Jesse Strube places first with his exhibit and will be going on to Nationals in June at the University of Maryland.

Frog dissection day! Students have been learning about frog’s organs and their functions. Today they got to dissect to find those organs.

Due to the National Weather Service forecast indicating a strong possibility of high winds and severe thunderstorms all Hannibal Public Schools will dismiss early today, Friday, March 14th to ensure that all of our students and buses get home safely.
HHS/HCTC will dismiss at 1:00, HMS will dismiss at 1:30, and all elementary schools will dismiss at 1:45. There will be NO afternoon Preschool classes.
There will be no afternoon practices or activities. Students will be served lunch at school prior to dismissal.
