Inspired by Elaine Vickers' "Thankful," a Show Me Reader nominee book, each link represents something our school community is thankful for. Mr. Steve Klompien brought Velma to visit our Kindergarteners today. 🇺🇸 He is an Army Veteran and talked to our kids about his service to our country. 🇺🇸 He shared that Velma is his service dog. She was trained at K9 on the Frontline.

Kindergarten went on a hayride today and had Millcreek farm come and teach us how pumpkins are grown and each kid got to pick a pumpkin and gourd to take home.
The kids had a blast learning all the parts of the pumpkin and even acting out how the seed turns into a pumpkin.
