Hi! My name is Lauren Patterson, and I am so incredibly excited to be joining the 5th grade team this year! I just graduated from Hannibal-Lagrange University this last May. I enjoy cooking and all things adventure. I am so pumped to be joking the Mark Twain Elementary family! I was given the chance to work alongside various grade levels at MTE during my time at Hannibal-LaGrange. I feel so blessed to get to come back and work together with a family of teachers that love their job, and love their students well! Let’s have the best year ever!

I am a senior at Culver-Stockton College in Canton, MO and I will be a teacher of record until December 2023. I am receiving my Bachelors in Elementary Education with minors in Child Advocacy Studies and Psychology. I am also working towards my Masters in Education with an emphasis in Special Reading Certification. I enjoy spending my time thrifting, drawing/painting, playing golf, and most importantly, spending time with my friends and family. I will be a second grade teacher at Mark Twain Elementary this school year!

My name is Amanda and I can't wait to meet you! I am a mom of two, Sophie (10) and Benson (4); they are the most fun and adventurous kids! In my free time, I enjoy all things outdoors. Hiking and exploring new places with friends and family are among my favorite outdoor activities. I also enjoy working with my hands; flipping houses and rebuilding cars are my downtime hobbies. Being active is important to me and you will rarely catch me sitting still. You will also rarely catch me being anything but positive. I am blessed and I love embracing the new adventures that come along with this ever changing life. Looking forward to being a part of the Mark Twain team!
